The Gospel, English, p. 2
What is the gospel?
The word “Gospel” means “good news.” It is the good news of how you can have a loving, personal relationship with God that gives meaning and purpose to this life, and, at the same time, gives you the certainty that you will spend eternity with Him in heaven.
Many people today claim that they are preaching the Gospel, yet they all seem to have different messages.
Turn from your sins to God!
Put Christ on the throne of your life!
Give your heart to God!
Repent and be baptized!
Make a personal
commitment to Christ!
Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Christ!
Come forward and confess Christ publicly!
Turn your life over to Jesus!
Make Christ the Lord of your Life!
Say a sinner’s prayer!
Invite Jesus into your heart!
Pray to receive Christ!
Why do we hear so many different messages today? Is there more than one gospel? What really is “The Gospel” according to the Bible?
